Best Space Images of 2020
The world came to stand still because of the pandemic but despite the COVID-19 outspread, the celestial events didn't take a break from bringing visual treats to stargazers.
11. 30 Celestial Gems
On December 11, 2020, NASA released newly processed Hubble image featuring 30 dazzling galaxies, sparkling star clusters, and ethereal nebulae. This Hubble image captures Caldwell 78 (or NGC 6541), a globular star cluster roughly 22,000 light-years from Earth. The cluster is bright enough that backyard stargazers in the Southern Hemisphere can easily spot it with binoculars.
30 Celestial Gems does sound right for the image.
