Bihar Assembly Election 2020, is the first major election that is going to happen in this pandemic crisis throughout the world.  The basic and the foremost key to maintain the safety which we already know* maintain social distancing, use hand sanitizer, wear face mask, if needed face shield and most importantly gloves.

Election Commission issued guidelines for Bihar Election which will be held on scheduled three dates:-

The Election Commission has arranged all the required safety measurements for Bihar election:-

  • 6 lakh PPE Kits
  • 6.7 lakh Face Shields
  • 7 lakh Hand Sanitisers
  • 23 lakh Pairs of Hand Gloves
  • 46 lakh Masks

Highlights of the election are CM Nitish Kumar (JD9U)) will fight for a fourth term with the coalition with BJP. Tejashwi Yadav (RJD) son of Lalu Prasad Yadav and Congress has planned to challenge NDA. 

  1. First time ever EC has allowed candidates to file their online nominations for Bihar polls as per the guidelines. 
  2. Each and Every registered voter, It’s mandatory to wear face masks and hand gloves before heading for EVM machines to give their votes. 
  3. Voting time has been exceeded for one hour which will be 7am to 6pm.
  4. Covid suspects and the patients will be allowed to cast their votes in the last hour of polling.
  5. “Postal Ballot” facilities for the age group above 80 years and the person with disabilities.
  6. Three queues for each: Male, Female, PwD and Old Age group.
  7. Soap and Water for exit and entry point.
  8. No public gathering, polling authorities and health officials will watch the meetings closely.
  9. Sanitizer will be kept everywhere, social distance.
  10. 1000 voters at a polling station, hand gloves are compulsory while casting the vote.

Sunil Arora (Chief Election Commissioner) said " these will be one of the biggest elections globally to be held during the prevailing covid-19situation. He said the world has changed significantly since the last elections which were held for Delhi assembly and the covid-19 pandemic has forced a new normal in every aspect of our life.”

SELF SAFETY AND PRECAUTION IS MUST, KEEP DISTANCE OF 2 METERS TO AVOID THE COVID 19.
