2. Electric Storms of Jupiter
Astronomers have observed massive jolts of energy beneath the planet's swirling cloud but it had always been proven challenging to spot lightning in the upper reach of the atmosphere. But, now, NASA's Juno has revealed that the planet's cloud tops are active with the lightning frequently, and it is nothing like we see on earth. Regardless, it is beautiful.
