The world came to stand still because of the pandemic but despite the COVID-19 outspread, the celestial events didn't take a break from bringing visual treats to stargazers.
3. Sun's Close-up
The shot was taken by the Daniel K. Inouye Solar Telescope (DKIST), the world's largest solar telescope, on the island of Maui, Hawaii on January 29, 2020. The surface of our sun is a wild, violent place and now we can see it in exquisite detail, the image shows a pattern of turbulent,'boilin' gas that covers the entire sun, however the corona, sun's atmoshphere is hotter than its surface.
