But have you ever heard about a designer school uniform? Yes! Jaisalmer school girls are now going to feel branded by wearing a designer school uniform of Sabyasachi. Sabyasachi has designed a school dress for Rajkumari Ratnavati Girl’s school in Jaisalmer with the collaboration of CITTA (A Non Profit Organisation based in the US).
The uniform has a beautiful design of Ajrakh (Art of Gujarat) at the bottom of the blue frock, it has two front patch pockets, huk buttons and a red elastic lower paint. The combination of blue frock with red paint and an art of Ajrakh gives a look of ‘Rajasthani Vibes.’
Sabyasachi, 46 year old designer said “I have always believed in the transformation power of education. Its impact ripples upwards and outwards, from an individual level to a society-at-large. Especially dear to me are the initiatives that focus their resources on educating girls — the demographic most limited in access to opportunity and most stifled by archaic social expectations.”
