Indian Army Impeded Chinese Militaries in Ladakh

Indian Army deployed their troops in some key areas, including- Rezang La, and carried out surveys to gather Intel of enemies in the proximity

The new clash intervened in the night of 29 and 30 August, between Indian and Chinese forces happened in the southern bank of Pangong Tso in Eastern Ladakh that stirred the silence that persisted after the following terrible clash in Galwan Valley on 15th June.

The Army declared on Monday- “Brigade Commander Level Flag Meeting” is in progress at Chushul to resolve this matter

According to this, on the night of 29/ 30 Aug, the previous consensus arrived at during military and diplomatic engagements had been violated by the PLA Troops ( People’s Liberation Army) in the midst of the standoff in Eastern Ladakh.

 

“Indian troops pre-empted this PLA activity on the Southern Bank of Pangong Tso Lake, undertook measures to strengthen our positions and thwart Chinese intentions to unilaterally change facts on ground,” it said.

According to the report, this action by Indian Army was in retribution to China’s military actions where in it sent troops about 500 to try and cross into a very narrow valley near Chushul- Spanggur

When the Indian Army got alerted about the same straight away retaliated and engaged with the Chinese forces for 3 hours in a close fight until the PLA was hunted off.

 

Army states to have been committed to maintain proper peace and tranquility through dialogue, but is also equally determined to protect its territorial integrity.

However, it didn’t gave more details to the queries about how serious the clash was and about the casualties.
