9. Lyrid Meteor Shower
The Lyrid meteor shower appears annually between April 16 and April 25, and tends to peak around April 22 and April 23. it is one of the oldest recorded meteor showers however, the annual Lyrid meteor shower put on an exceptional show for skywatchers this year. The debris from comet Thatcher creates the fireballs in athe meteor shower. Thatcher takes about 415 years to orbit around the Sun, the comet is expected to be visible from Earth again in 2276.
